More than 20 domestic and international experts and scholars made 14 keynote reports about the frontier academic research fields. In the first half of the seminar, Prof. Cao Dapeng, Prof. Subramania Angaiah, Prof. Guo Zhanhu, Prof. Liu Gang, Prof. Yang Nuo, Prof. Hao Yan, and Prof. Gu Hongbo made presentations on the basic and applied research of phonon engineering, dye-sensitized solar cells, magnetoresistive nanocomposites and other related research areas, and discussed in depth the key issues and development trends in these areas.

In the second half of the seminar, Prof. Cao Bingyang, Prof. Deng Hongbing, Prof. Shao Lu, Prof. Liu Jiurong, Prof. Yang Guang, Prof. Yu Wei and Prof. Gu Junwei talked about electric field-regulated thermal smart materials, the construction of efficient separation membranes for gas-liquid systems, and the high use of agricultural and forestry biomass resources. On-site experts and scholars actively communicated and shared their problems and solutions in research about the cutting-edge knowledge in different scientific research fields.

The purpose of this conference is to promote research cooperation between various domestic and international research teams and promote the development of engineered science journals. The two-day’s meeting was a complete success.
