Journal Scope
ES General is a peer-reviewed international journal that focuses on emerging research that covers a broader audience, which includes academic institutions, industry, political institutions, and the general public in all disciplines of science, technology, and engineering.
Article types
ES general accepts the manuscripts in the following formats:
- Full Paper
- Communication/Letters
- Review Articles (Authoritative and Comprehensive)
- Comments
- Personal Account
Special Issues
The journal seeks to publish focussed, coherent thematic volumes that will be of lasting use to the community, well cited, and of the highest quality – the same quality as regular research papers in the journal.
All interested experts should prepare a proposal for the proposed topic within the journal's scope. After receiving the Special Issue proposals, the journal Editors-in-Chief and selected Associate Editors will evaluate its feasibility. A decision is expected within three weeks of submission.

Processing Time
Depending on the manuscript type and number of submissions, the average manuscript turnaround time (the average time from submission to initial decision) will be around 10 days and the submission to acceptance ranges from 6-7 weeks.
After acceptance, the citable just-accepted manuscript with doi will be online in 1 week and another 4-5 weeks to get the final corrected article online after getting the authors’ final proof. The print version will be available 2-3 weeks later after the online volume is issued.
