An Impact of Nationwide Lockdown on Physico- chemical Parameters of Bhogavati River Water
Abstract
The physico-chemical parameters of Bhogawati river at village Balinga in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra, India was studied during the Indian nationwide lockdown period. We have collected 16 samples from the same location on the daily basis after three weeks from the start of Indian nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. The parameters like pH, TDS, EC, total hardness, Calcium, Potassium, etc. were determined in a government-approved research laboratory. The results obtained were compared with IS 10500-212 (BIS).
