Abstract

Nanoscience and technology is the emerging branch of science. Nanotechnology finds applications in various discipline of science and technology from medicine to aeronautical engineering, space science and all other branches of science and technology. American physicist Nobel laureate Richard Feynman is considered as father of Nanotechnology. But if we look into ancient history we find at numerous places concept of nanoscience and technology was beautifully used. The use of Nanoscience and technology can be traced back from ancient Indus valley civilization. Here an attempt has been made to focus inside the historical development in the science at nanoscale and technology.
