Engineered Science Society (ESS)

Engineered Science Society (ESS)

The Engineered Science Society (Abbreviation: ESS) is a non-profit academic organization that promotes the integration of engineering technology and basic scientific research. Engineering science is a new concept and field that differs from traditional basic science and conventional engineering. It emphasizes the importance of science and engineering. For science, attention should be paid to engineering in the research process. For engineering, science should be considered and adopted to avoid any unfortunate deployment. In this process of engineering science, the knowledge behind the phenomena should be discovered, understood theoretically, and predicted through mathematical models for the future. With the emergence of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), numerical simulation and analysis, machine learning, and deep learning, researchers can reveal and predict nature in an unprecedented way. ESS is committed to promoting innovation and creation in engineering science and applied technologies. Through organizing high-level academic conferences, publishing high-quality journals, developing new materials and reagents, it promotes the development of the engineering science field, facilitates international cooperation and exchanges, and continuously accelerates the transformation of scientific achievements into engineering applications.

Establishment Date: 2017
