Special issue on "Photoelectrochemical Materials and Hydrogen Production"
Call for Papers
The Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation emphases upon three aspects: materials synthesis and processing, chemical reaction engineering, and Energy and Advanced Applications.
We aim to provide a central platform for the interchange and broadcasting of new ideas, and original fundamental research and technology developments in the field of Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Energy between scientists and engineers. Papers dealing with emerging topics in preparation and characterization of advanced energy materials for specific hydrogen generation applications are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. Also, research areas including the evolution of the Novel Materials Synthesis and Processing section whose scope has been redefined to emphasize the design and application of materials in the fields of energy (harvesting, storage, utilization) are welcome. In addition, new trend of co-catalyst and metal oxide as a protecting layer on metal sulfide/metal oxide heterojunction is to be carried out, since it is sustaining the electrode material and competing pasture for the photocorrosion due to holes. In order to catch down the challenges of environmental pollution and global warming; eco-friendly materials, chemical methods and electrolytes and photoelectrochemical hydrogen generation are to be focused.
